MIYABI COAT 2.0 (Kamikaze Collection)

150.00

Miyabi Coat 2.0 is a refined, easy-to-apply ceramic coating infused with carbon nanotube (CNT) technology for enhanced cross-linking and hydrophobic properties. Featuring ultra-fine silica molecules, it delivers stunning gloss, superior clarity, and excellent resistance to water spotting and contaminants—making it ideal both as a standalone coating (lasting 18–24 months) and as a base layer in multi-coat systems (e.g., before ISM, Zipang, or Over Coat).

Application procedure

1. Prep Surface: Wash, dry, and decontaminate. Optional but recommended: machine polish for optimal gloss. Wipe down with a panel prep solution like Gyeon Prep.
2. Shake Well: Agitate bottle thoroughly to ensure resin and CNT components are evenly mixed.
3. Panel-by-Panel Approach: Apply a few drops onto a suede or microfiber applicator. Work in straight-line strokes across one panel (~60×60 cm), then switch direction once—no reapplication when changing direction.
4. Flash Time: Let the coating sit for 3–5 minutes, depending on ambient temperature (optimal 15–25 °C, 40–70% RH).
5. Buff Off Residue:
First wipe: Use a soft microfiber with light pressure to remove the bulk of residue.
Second wipe: Use a new microfiber to refine the shine. No pressure needed—the coating should come off cleanly.
6. Inspection: Use bright lighting (e.g., a flashlight) to ensure all residue is removed—any remaining dark spots can only be removed by machine polishing.
7. Curing:
Avoid getting the vehicle wet for at least 24 hours; full curing continues over ~5 days.
Infrared (IR) curing optional: 70–75 °C for 10–15 minutes per panel speeds curing in cooler conditions.
8. Layering Guidance:
For two-coat durability: wait 1 hour between Miyabi layers.
When using ISM, Zipang Coat, Over Coat, or Infinity Wax on top, allow 1–2 hours for Miyabi to cure before adding the next layer.
