It offers medium-level cutting power to refine light defects and smooth out haze left from heavier compounds like Zero Fighter—delivering glossy clarity with low dust and consistent viscosity for professional-grade control.

Application procedure

Surface Prep: Wash and dry the vehicle. Wipe with IPA or panel wipe to ensure contaminant-free paint.
Pad Selection: Use the Red Foam Polishing Pad (medium aggressiveness) for finishing, or the Black Finishing Pad (softer foam) for ultra-fine work .
Apply Compound: Place a few drops on the pad. Work in small 60×60 cm (2×2 ft) sections.
Motion: Use straight, overlapping linear strokes—no circular or cross-hatch motion.
Speed & Pressure: Begin on low-speed to spread, then medium speed with light pressure for cut.
Check Work: Stop occasionally to inspect with bright light. Ensure haze is removing without scratching.
Residue Removal: Wipe using a quality microfiber cloth, folding to reveal clean surface.
Optional Follow-up: For deeper one-step gloss, buff again with Ichiban Finishing Polish and Red pad.
Final Prep: Wash and degrease again before applying any coatings.
